As a registered organisational psychologist practicing in Australia it is a necessity to follow the policy and guidelines set out by the national governing body, the Australian Health Practioner Regulation Authority (APHRA). All the guidelines of which can be publicly viewed here, and I have been a member of APHRA since beginning my year of supervision practice in 2018. APHRA has adopted the Australian Psychological Society’s (APS) code of confidentiality and ethics, of which I am also a member and have been since commencing my psychological studies in 2012.
