As a registered organisational psychologist practicing in Australia it is a necessity to follow the policy and guidelines set out by the national governing body, the Australian Health Practioner Regulation Authority (APHRA). All the guidelines of which can be publicly viewed here, and I have been a member of APHRA since beginning my year of supervision practice in 2018. APHRA has adopted the Australian Psychological Society’s (APS) code of confidentiality and ethics, of which I am also a member and have been since commencing my psychological studies in 2012. I first because familiar with the APHRA guidelines when I began studying my master’s in organisational psychology as it is here where the 5+1 format for psychological registration qualification guidelines can be found. The guidelines for professional development are also something that every registered psychologist should be very familiar with and this has guided much of my professional development more information of which can be found here,
