Most classrooms and work environments adhere to a chain of command. This provides the person at the top of the chain to hold the greatest power over everyone else. While many at the top wield their power responsibly, there are some that let the power overwhelm them and cause them to act negatively towards others below them. Even when I become a leader, I tend not to control the ‘project’ and let everyone have an equal say and input to create a safe space for all. I like to think that I genuinely get along with my colleagues at work, and they’re not simply committing acts of adhesion to survive.
I would absolutely feel intimidated if I had the opportunity to work with a famous person and I would absolutely adhere to their methods of working.
