Using the Gel Plate
I’ve had a lot of fun and success over the last few weeks meticulously building my paintings and designs up on my different sized gel plates, waiting with baited breath, not really knowing what they will look like until that moment 26 hours later when the acrylic paint is all set.
Finally I can flip the paper and gel plate combination on my print table and see the image for the first time. But still the wait is not over. Now I have to carefully peel the gel plate back and hope that no part of the image is still wet and sticks to the plate.
Enjoy my process videos as much as I have as each image is revealed!
