With skills I’ve learnt from previous modules, I extended my skills with angles and distances on a human figure. Exercise 1 helped me to observe the model’s shape and proportions to get used to drawing the nude figure with my non-dominant hand and dominant hand. When drawing negative space in exercise 2, I can further understand the form and consider spaces between them as the figure may be leaning over or placing the hand on the hip. Exercise 3 was simple lines to know the angles of the head, body, legs, and hands, and to consider the proximity of each. Blind drawing was to aid me in focusing on the figure rather than my interpretation of it. Exercise 5 was a longer drawing session to show off my new skills acquired from the other exercises. It was short to get the hang of it. Exercise 6 was a final long pose where I took my time to put these practices in place. I draw a lot of nude figures, and Drawing content 6 has taught me ways to more accurately draw angles and distances. This was my Favorite module as I love the complex human figure and drawing it. I liked exercise 2 the most, as it was a new technique I learnt where I focused on the space around the body.
