“The Energy to Change” is a charcoal done on 200 gsm paper. This artwork aims to convey the movement of energy in nature and how it leads us to change. The subject of this drawing is an egg and how it changes, converting its energy to a new form from stage to stage.
“Life of Lemons” is an acrylic piece done on 300 gsm mixed media paper. This artwork explores the idea of taking life and energy out of the base painting and the reappling of life back into it. I achieved this by using a black and white gradient. After the base was done, I went back in with bright colours mixed with gesso and a palette knife.
