The Work ‘Fragmented Me’ is a performance work built upon a work called ‘I can’t see you. You can’t see me’ that was made to represent my social anxiety and masking through my ritual of coffee drinking. ‘Fragmented Me’ is an extension of this providing an intimate visual of the connection between a fragment of my concatenated creative ideas, my artist identity, and my personal identity. The work includes only a modicum of my creative strength, hence the name of the piece. I may choose to build on this work further as my studies and career as an emerging artist progresses, develops, and branches out into the art industry. By no means is my intended definition of this work fixed, all works made by me are subjective and are what the audience intends them to be.
2022 Content was by the Community Enterprise Foundation TM, without it, I would not be able to acquire the resources necessary for my arts practice this year.
2023 Semester 1 Works
Lucid is a drawing the fuses the concatenation of ideas, subject matter and themes most commonly used in my arts practice and the direction it is heading. It’s composition is made up of a flying frog, mushrooms, and a human skull, to depict that sometimes the ideas overflow and escape the mind, oftentimes beyond my control. The works technical composition is made up of a drawing technique that changes with each artwork, being inconsistent and unique. This work is a cornerstone in the development of my drawing practice that I will continue to develop into next semester and possibly informing my practice for the last year of my Degree.

Semester 2 2023
This semester, my work focused on how I could incorporate elements of my current practice into the exercises and artworks for the Sculpture and Drawing modules. With this application, my work has seen new avenues of opportunity for the exploration of media combinations and styles as well as what does and doesn’t work with my current practice concepts. The works made this semester were a lesson and learning experience for the development of my professional development, and will be used in the Advanced studio tasks in my final year of study in 2024.
