My teaching philosophy is that every child and every adult can learn from one another. As an educator I understand that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.

It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere in my classroom where students can meet their full potential. To enable this, I will provide a safe learning environment where students are invited to share their ideas and take risks. I believe the essential elements conducive to learning are, to act as a guide, utilize hands-on activities, allow students the opportunity to practice skills in a safe environment, and allow the use of technology to enhance their learning.  I will also assist my students to express themselves and accept themselves for who they are, as well as embrace the differences of others.
