I am a technology expert and researcher with twenty years’ experience of working in web development and learning technologies in both UK and Australian Higher Education. My research interests are in understanding how technology can be harnessed to make a positive contribution to people’s lives and allow them to flourish with a particular foci on digital education and immersive learning.

  • user experience, web accessibility, and universal design;
  • Virtual Reality (VR) with reference to empathic learning
  • mobile and wearable technologies;
  • open education and MOOCs;
