Smarter Writing with Smarthinking

1 Sep 2022 | ThinkPiece | 4 comments

The Student Learning and Development (SLD) Team are pleased to present the ThinkPiece “Smarter Writing with Smarthinking”. The SLD Team are dedicated to improving student academic literacies and numeracies by embedding skills and resources into the curriculum across the university. One of the many resources we recommend is a 24/7 external feedback service called Smarthinking.

Smarthinking gives students the opportunity to submit drafts of their writing for feedback in areas such as structure, academic language, idea development and grammar. Our recent impact study shows that embedding this software has improved student outcomes across a range of courses and disciplines. We invite you to watch our video and discover how you and your students can benefit from using Smarthinking.
