About the Microsoft for Teaching SIG

The Microsoft for Teaching Special Interest Group is a sub-group of Technology Demonstrators at UniSQ. One tool which is a key focus of this SIG is MS Teams, which is now available to all staff for research and professional teams.

In response to requests from academics and education designers for access to a more flexible collaborative learning environment, UniSQ will pilot Microsoft Teams for Teaching within courses in 2023. Those who join the pilot will have access to Teams via their course StudyDesk (it’s now integrated).

The Technology Demonstrators CoP are also looking at how we can use other Microsoft tools for learning and teaching. These include:

  • Teams
  • OneNote
  • Forms
  • Sway
  • Whiteboard
