Whilst this turned out messier than hoped, I am happy with what I’ve learnt and the hours of dedication over 6 months I’ve invested in learning about the art medium, in my printmaking journey.

As the adage goes, you have to start somewhere, and I am happy that I tied this to a theme close to my heart.

I’d learnt from my experience re-colouring the T, that sometimes it’s best to embrace the imperfections that eventuate in art. So, I made it a positive that these two pages had accidentally stuck together. It worked out kind of perfectly, and added a new layer of meaning to these two components ‘B’ for Brotherboy and the Australian snake, in aid of the overall theme of LGBTQIASB+ diversity.
