These were the first two linos I cut. The first, left, is a flower. It was intended as a daisy, but I think with the shape of its petals it’s probably more realistically another flower – maybe a zucchini flower?

The second, right, is a toucan. This is cut on a softer lino, which took some getting used to. After cutting the first design (zucchini flower), my first couple of cuts into the softer lino / toucan design were accidentally too deep. You can still kind of see this in the top middle partial flower, in the top (with three points/petals). Upon reflection, I like and appreciate the feel and ease of the softer design. However, I’ve only been able to source the softer lino in a very small size, and it wasn’t practical to use for the additional prints. The letters I wanted to do larger.
