❀ ‘Grief’ ❀ Oil paint etching on paper. 21 cm x 14.50 cm. The work is a mix of disgust within myself while also feeling an immense sense of loss. During the time of creation, I was dealing with a lot of grief due to the loss of multiple personal pets, which was then affected by my overwhelming anxiety and stress. The sensation of grief burns off the body, that then allows the body to grieve it’s loss and work through the cycle of emotions.
