I am a graduate English and Humanities teacher, seeking a teaching position in Toowoomba.

After a career in government, I recently took a leap of faith to pursue my desire to teach. Having just completed my final semester (Master of Secondary Learning and Teaching, USQ), I feel that I have finally found my true vocation. I love spending time with young people and care deeply about learning (both academic learning and self-discovery), being a committed lifelong learner myself. Teaching is a values-driven profession where I can use both my head and my heart in equal measure, which I am already finding extremely satisfying.

I love literature and am particularly interested in finding new and innovative ways to incorporate technology into the English curriculum to reflect the interests of students and prepare them for the jobs of the future.
