An experimental coil pot, focusing on the literal aspect of coil a long roll of clay as a representation of a snake. Embellished with patches of greens, blues and yellows reminiscent of a landscape. The lip of the pot is indented making a star shape, which was interesting.
Snake of pot, White Raku clay
A Coil Pot styled after the form of an amphora, replacing the typical vertical handles with 2 snakes that wrap around the body of the vessel. Adorned with a rainbow of stripes the snakes are the main focus of the artwork, one of which is embellished with fine black swirls that taint the white body of the vessel.

A collection of six slip-casted conical cups. Each has a finger painted human figure in a meditative pose, that mirrors the tapering of the vessel. On the opposite side of each is an existential phrase that is reflective on personality and identity.
