set of 6 unturned bowls
Walker’s 10 Stoneware
2025
A set of 6 unturned wheel-thrown bowls, decorated with multiple colours of continuous line drawings exploring the contours of the bowls forms, with the occasional yellow block at the connection of certain lines. The bowls are meant to invoke a feeling of motion and calm using primarily blue and lines that the eye is drawn to follow as a calming excercise.

A pause for reflection
52 x 33 x 11 cm
Walker’s 10 Stoneware

A pause for reflection is a ceramic sculpture of a threatened Princess Parrot, perched upon driftwood common in the waterways they visit, the bird is stationary and stretched in an ambiguous expression, frozen in a time where it is neither alive nor dead, while we continue to move around it with little notice, or understanding of the gravity of the situation.
