Lesson plan demonstrating that students were introduced to Australian money through an inquiry approach. Students had examined and compared Australian notes and coins and then had a classroom discussion sharing stories and knowledge of the Royal Australian Mint and different currencies. This demonstrates APST 2.1 and 2.2. It was the commencement of a lesson sequence using an engaging activity. Please note, the highlighted writing are reflections after the lesson.
