Artist Statement

Artist kylie Jackson is a multi facetted multi media artist, kylie is interested in the movement and shape of realism. Currently kylie is working within the television and film industry for, Australian broad casting (ABC) as a specialist makeup artist. Partial creations of her art practice of sculpture, painting and drawing, can been scene in this portfolio. She is currently undergoing an undergraduate degree at USQ. Furthering her education as an active creative. She enjoys educating others, using all art a forms to increase the use of language, movement and inner peace. By creating a safe place of calm, where she can interact and help others to recognise an internal voice to create a place for healing. Kylies studio practice and processes are created within plein air, transient and community space studio where she can progressively stop and create. kylie is interested in working with local networks in community, creating a welcoming meeting place for distraction, peace and creativity.
