As the administrator of your Portfolio, you have a range of options in terms of how you decide to share your site.
It’s important to consider your privacy requirements carefully, based on the profession or industry you are entering, the types of content you are sharing and your personal circumstances.
Explore these slides below to choose the right options for you:
Your Site Visibility Settings:
Choose the right level of visibility for your site – Private, UniSQ Users Only or Public.
Managing Users
If you opt for a Private site there is an option to add users who have a CSU Login (Eg. Staff and Students) to your site as a user.
This has the benefit of maintaining your privacy settings, but also allows your course coordinator/tutor to assess your work, and/or allow students/colleagues to collaborate with you.
Password-Protection Options
The final tool you can use to share your site on a limited basis is password protecting your site, or particular posts and pages.
This has the benefit of allowing you to set your site as public, but still protect particular parts of your content that you’d prefer to stay private.
