“In My Mirror” explores gender identity, presentation, expression and bigotry. I use plastic armature and sewn hands to reflect my experiences of looking at the mirror, seeing what my body looks in different ways, specifically with a binded chest.

To keep this ‘binder’ safe, I made sure it could stretch as I breathe while still maintaining its overall shape.
