As an emerging artist I have used the experience of constructing this piece to express the themes surrounding my Mental Health. This piece reflects the ‘1000 heart project’ which is an avenue of spreading love and good will to those who really need it, which I have personally benefited from.

The symbolism of the different hearts reflects different milestones along my Mental Health journey, and serve as a reminder to not be afraid of wearing your heart for everyone to see, allowing openness and honesty about a topic that can be quite confronting for people to discuss openly.
