Module 2 – Wearable Sculpture

This module required we create a wearable sculpture. Rather than attempt to make my outfit from scratch, I utilised an ill-fitting jacket and adorned it with little fabric mushrooms.
There is a hidden message within this piece, as the mushrooms are created from work shirts from an industry that I very much did not enjoy. The idea evolved into a mushroom hat, made entirely from fabric scrap, continuing the theme of turning waste into wonder.
