Day to day interactions in my profession highlight the importance of demonstrating high interpersonal communication and interview skills. As an organisational psychologist I have demonstrated these interpersonal communication and interview skills through; counselling workers about job and career related issues, interviewing workers to obtain information about physical, mental, and educational requirements of the role as well as information about aspects such as job satisfaction. During my career I have been involved in numerous employee, leadership and organisational dispute resolution processes and without highly developed communication skills this would not have been successful.
