I never expected to find myself in a psychological stream when I was a young lad going through school, but I must say that I am very happy to work in a field I am passionate about now. It wasn’t until later on in my working career as an engineer, within a large organisation that I started to question why our organisation would do things a certain way and if there was indeed a better way we could do things. This is how I came to find myself many years later as an organisational psychologist. I think in many aspects of how organisations work we accept the minimum requirements when we can aim for so much better, and I want to lead that change not only for my industry but for others aswel.
If I’m not at work (which it feels like i am all the time), you can find me spending quality time with my 2 dogs, Louis Donald the Third and Mmmmbop. I am passionate about animals and would love to incorporate more animal therapies into my work as there is a wealth of evidence on the benefits of this and it would be bring two of my loves together.
I also have a real passion for travel and experiencing other cultures, I cannot wait till our world returns to normal after we get the COVID pandemic under control and I can hop back on a plane and experience some new places.
