Mea Telford is an 18-year-old Gladstone Queensland, Australia based emerging visual artist who primarily focuses on painting throughout her practice.  Telford is currently studying a Bachelor of Visual Arts full time through The University of South Queensland. Two principal themes in Telford’s work are body positivity and antibullying. These are things Mea struggled with growing up and would always use art to express how she was feeling.  Telford tries to express both themes throughout her practice by using the flexible medium of water colour paint and by creating rich and meaningful artworks that involve the human body and the struggles people ender not only as a society but as individuals.
