Artefact 6 – At the beginning of every session I include classroom expectations, learning intentions, and success criteria so that the expectation for learning is clear to all students for participation and engagement (Lemov, 2010).

Artefact 7

Artefact 7 – The fist-to-five feedback tool was used frequently throughout and at the end of lessons to determine students’ level of understanding and confidence in the learning being taught. Using a feedback tool regularly ensured students were engaged and participating in the lesson, and enabled the lesson to be modified to meet the needs of students (Lemov, 2010).
