This image show the zones of regulation and the feelings that fit in each zone. The emojis allow students to easily identify how they are feeling even if they cannot find the words to express how they are feeling whilst they are heightened. The colours also are used for young students to make connections with how these colours are used to signal action in the real world, green is for go, ready to learn, red is for stop, time to think and reflect. I have used this behaviour management program during professional experiences and employment as a School Officer. Demonstrating my competency of standard 4.1, 4.3 and 4.4, using strategies to manage challenging behaviours to ensure students safety and participation in learning.
