The two patterned twisted handle mugs were created from a rolled slab of clay, the clay was pressed with a textured roller and after bisque firing they were glazed with Honey flux with a Sapphire float. The other cups were made using a coiling technique and after bisque firing were glazed with cobalt blue. The items were stacked into a large kiln for the initial bisque firing prior to mixing the glazes and covering the mugs with glaze ready for the final firing to complete the process.
