About me

I am an ambitious and dedicated wife, mother, and psychology student who lives on the sunny Gold Coast.

I first discovered my passion for teaching and learning when I had the opportunity, as an undergraduate student, to guide Spanish tutorials at the University of Sydney. During my undergrad studies, I was able to visit several places within Latin America as part of a study abroad program, it is here that I fell in love with both the varying cultures and the man who would become my future husband.

To follow my passion, I decided to change my university major from business to Spanish literature.

After finishing an Honours BA in Spanish, I continued my studies at University of Sydney, were I obtained a MA in Latin American and Caribbean Studies.

I had a wonderful career within the language and arts field, but something was always missing. After much deliberation, I decided to resign from my job and focus on growing my family. Soon enough I was expecting my first son, and the next phase of my life began.

Shortly before welcoming our second son, my family relocated to sunny Queensland. Shortly after my youngest sons first birthday, I decided to enroll in a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) at University of Southern Queensland. This university allowed me to study externally which was perfect for me as a mother of two young children.

Having now completed most of my undergraduate degree, I can confidently say that Psychology is not exactly what I thought it would be… it is even better! I am eager to continue enhancing my knowledge and exploring as many opportunities as possible. I cannot wait to see what the future holds!
