Key Artist – The artist Swoon, whose original name is Caledonia Curry and her story like way of visually communicating her concepts. Instead of pointing out the flaws in the world like Swoon, I decided to find the flaws within the individuals that create this flawed world with the underlining concept of thoughts being the power.
Wonderer depicts what occurs when you lose yourself, you try to outrun your past (the rope), outrun what you’ve become because you cannot truly understand yourself. Wonderer encourages the idea of when you lose somebody, a part of you is forever lost as the version of you with them can no longer exist with their parting. Essentially the concertina book indicates that the more you make your environment this endless cycle of analysis and picking apart, the more you start to disappear.
