I am Sarah Mitchell a Toowoomba-based artist whose art is primarily focused on digital character art, and sculptur. In my art, I challenge conventional notions and encourage girls to fearlessly explore the wonders of the past and the realms of the imagination. Through my sculptural pieces and drawings, I aim to create a sense of inclusivity and empowerment.

As an artist with an unyielding passion for both dinosaurs and Dungeons and Dragons, my work is a celebration of captivating worlds, both those made for mystical adventures and those lost to time.

At the core of my artistic exploration lies an insatiable fascination with dinosaurs. As an artist, my mission is encouraging young girls to embrace their curiosity and passion for these majestic prehistoric creatures.

Whilst historically, the realm of dinosaurs has often been perceived as a predominantly male interest, I take joy in crafting pieces specifically tailored for girls. I believe it is essential to challenge gender stereotypes and create a space where girls feel welcome to explore and engage with the fascinating world of dinosaurs.

In much of my sculptural work and drawings, I endeavour to recreate the magnificence of these prehistoric creatures. I create hyper-realistic depictions, allowing viewers to connect intimately with these majestic beings that walked the Earth eons ago. My art seeks to break down barriers and inspire girls to embark on their own thrilling journeys of discovery.

In parallel to the scientific world of palaeontology, my imagination soars to the ethereal realms of Dungeons and Dragons, where heroes rise and mythical pursuits unfold.

The allure of heroic quests, mythical beings, and mysterious landscapes fuels my creativity. Many of my works serve as portals to these fantastical worlds, envisioning mythical creatures and magical artefacts that embellish the realm of the tabletop roleplaying game.

My works strive to evoke emotions and memories tied to the cherished moments experienced within the game. Within the intricate details of each piece lies a common language that resonates with those who have embarked on their own epic quests.
