This collection is inspired by the geometric patterns of the 80’s, modernized with muted colours and painterly accents – hence ‘2080’.
These are the result of experimenting with layers – by creating six different designs that blocked various shapes and lines, infinite ideas could be mixed and matched using colours and arrangement.
To create the finished product, various shapes from previous prints were cut out and added using puffy tape, giving the piece depth and intrigue. Altogether, 2080 revealed new interpretations of creation, revealing the value of construction and creative decision-making in art.
