Self Serve – Create Your Own Site

Setup a portfolio, a blog, a project website or a learning journal and collaborate with peers!

Create@UniSQ is an online publishing platform designed for students and staff to create their own online space. You can use this service to quickly create sites for courses, groups, projects or individual use.

Who is eligible?

UniSQ Staff and Students are eligible to sign up for a Create@UniSQ Site.

You’ll be asked to login using your UniSQ Username and Password when you create your site.

Can I choose a design?

Yes! A small set of basic templates has been setup to help you get started, and you’ll be asked to choose one during the signup process.

After your site has been setup you will be able to add, remove or edit pages and posts and even select your own theme (look and feel).

How Many Sites Can I have?

Users are currently limited to 4 sites on the platform. However, if you require access to additional sites, please email: edtech@usq.edu.au.

Your Copyright Responsibilities

There are some great sources for free videos and images online, however, you must consider your copyright and intellectual property responsibilities whenever you add an video or image to your Create@UniSQ site. Read the the UniSQ Copyright Guidelines for Students here.

Your Privacy

Create@UniSQ is managed in line with the UniSQ Privacy Policy. The platform is managed by CampusPress which is part of the Incsub Group. You can read the Incsub Privacy Policy here, including information on their data sharing policies, site cookies, and the collection and security of personal information. Portfolio Students – Please Note:

If you are completing an assessment task for a course that requires you to work on an ePortfolio, a site has usually been created for you. You DO NOT need to create a new one. Please check your email for a message containing info about your site and how to get started. You can also find information about your Create@UniSQ Portfolio Site by going to My Sites which includes a list of the sites you have access to.
