Through this piece I was seeking to convey a multitude of things. I was seeking to convey how china and china cabinets are connections to memory and childhood. My Grandmothers china cabinet houses multi-generational moments. And through each layer and cup or teapot there is a story told, one of a family and how each generation has important moments passed down and displayed. Whether that be their wedding china or a souvenir cup they bought on their travels, each piece represents an important moment of family history. Collage on Watercolour paper.
