The crazy creature design for these creatures is a combination of a jellyfish, bee and big-eared hopping mice. Each element of these animals can be seen within the work. The jellyfish can be seen through the tentacles which are made from wool. The bee can be seen through the idea that the creatures are flying and the wings that allow them to fly. The idea that there are multiple creatures also ties in with the bee element as bees are usually seen in groups or swarms and these creatures are designed to be in a group. The big-eared hopping mouse can be seen through the shape of the head/body of the creature and the placement of the wings on the creature.

This concept for wearable art is both for protection and defence. The pieces are all made from gold and black wire that winds to create a glove-like sculpture that is worn on the hand and fingers. The finger elements of the piece are individual to ensure easy application and removal of the work and allow for glove elements to be worn alone.
