Ethics and Cultural Safety

The project is grounded on three fundamental pillars:  

Ethical conduct The evaluation team adheres to high ethical standards, aligning with the AES Code of Ethics and AES Guidelines for the Ethical Conduct of Evaluations. The team demonstrates understanding of ethical considerations, particularly when working with Indigenous people, and follows the AES First Nations Cultural Safety Framework. 

Cultural Safety The team strictly adheres to AES Codes and Guidelines, ensuring cultural safety throughout our evaluation process. Team members have completed the AES First Nations Cultural Safety Framework training course. The team also follows the NHMRC’s code for responsible conduct of research during data collection. 

Professionalism The evaluation team upholds high professional standards in evaluation and relevant domains. Our evaluation team upholds high professional standards in both evaluation and relevant domains, especially when addressing challenges encountered during our work.
