Welcome to my Portfolio
My name is Alek Arok. I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Human Services (Majoring in Health and Social Well-being) at the University of Southern Queensland. My other qualifications included completing a Diploma of Nursing and a Certificate three in Age Care, Home, and Community Care. I have twelve years of work experience in community sectors, and I enjoy working with people at all levels. My previous jobs include disability, Community Services, and age care. As a hardworking and supportive person, I highly value assisting vulnerable people to have a better life.
As much as my life and work experiences inspire me to continue working in community service, I strongly believe that these courses will equip me with new ideas and techniques for supporting people. So, I aim to learn from it and discover new opportunities to apply it in my emerging career.
