Holly Hancock is an emerging contemporary artist who has a vision of exploring uncomfortable social topics.

This artist website is dedicated to the journey Holly is currently undertaking to find her voice.

In addition to this journey, Holly is currently working on a project that takes the popular meme ‘Expectation vs Reality’ and re-envisages a women’s journey, from the innocence of childhood dreams to the adult reality of gender pay gap, domestic violence, divorce and homelessness.

Holly draws on personal experience to connect with the audience and looks to her own mother as the main inspiration of her latest work to highlight the disrupters that women encounter on their journeys to both champion the silent and to heal through the artistic process.

Holly began her visual art journey thirty years ago, receiving a coveted art grant for her early work in acrylic abstract art. Since then, Holly has evolved as an artist and has introduced photography, printmaking, and collage to help mobilise social statements through her art.

Holly’s passion for social change extends beyond the canvas. Holly spearheads an advisory board of professional women who provide educational and financial services to women facing adversity to help them not only survive but thrive. Holly’s vision is to take this passion from behind a closed door and use art to communicate to a wider audience.
