My ceramic sculpture represents trees/leaves as my Safe Haven.
Art has been My safe Haven of escape from reality of things beyond my control from a child. It is my passion and has filled my life with purpose and meaning.
The Diorama backdrop was made from experiments with ecodyed silk, stitched and quilted. It recreates a similar design to the ceramic lantern. The ceramic “Light in the Darkness,” is Walkers no 10 stoneware with antique shino glaze. light is powered by a battery candle.
