The Trade 2 Teach Gradual Release Indicators (T2T GRI) have been developed for use by relevant Queensland higher education institutions (HEIs) and T2T host schools in assessing T2T interns. They measure the standard that has been achieved by a T2T intern during their T2T internship by comparing their progress against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers Graduate Career Stage (Graduate APSTs).
This part of your portfolio provides a space for you to build a collection of evidence that illustrates your skills and expertise in relation to each section of the T2T GRI.
The links in the T2T GRI menu above provide access to a Category page for each of the sections as follows:
- Section 1: Planning effectively – preparation for teaching
- Section 2: Teaching effectively – enactment of teaching
- Section 3: Managing effectively – create safe and supportive learning environments
- Section 4: Assessing and recording learning
- Section 5: Professional conduct
- Section 6: Excluded descriptors
TO DO:
Use this part of your portfolio to record and reflect on your teaching experience in relation to the T2T GRIs and record evidence that demonstrates your skills by creating evidence posts.
You will find an Example T2T GRI Evidence Post on the Education Portfolio Hub.
