What are Posts?
Posts are where you’ll publish your ongoing content – for example reflections on your learning, assessment tasks, research notes, supporting evidence and placement reports.
Posts are really useful if you wish to publish a ‘learning journal’. They are displayed in reverse-chronological order on your ‘Posts’ Page with the most recent post at the top of the page. They can also be categorized and displayed in various ways as part of your Portfolio.
You will be using Posts to create most of the content for your Portfolio, including creating artefacts, reflections, gathering resources and drafting your Teaching Philosophy page.
What are Pages?
Pages are normally used for information that you want to share with your readers but don’t expect to update frequently.
Common uses for pages include:
- About Page: Used to tell readers more about yourself and your Portfolio / Site.
- Resume: A great way to publish information you can share with future employers or colleagues in your industry.
- Reference Lists or Useful Links: A space to record the texts and documents you have been using regularly.
You will be using Pages to create About Me, Resume, Teaching Philosophy and Evidence Map pages on your Portfolio.
