The Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST) Standard 1: Professional knowledge, focuses on knowing students, how they best learn and accomodating, responding and planning for successful learning experiences regardless of their diverse needs (Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership, n.d.). Standard 2: Know the content and how to teach it draws on teaching content from the Australian Curriculum, structuring appropriate learning strategies and engaging students in meaningful learning (Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership, n.d.). This ePortfolio will provide evidence on multiple focus areas to demonstrate proficiency of these two standards within professional knowledge.
