Professional Development

At the age of 16, I began searching for jobs as I planned to attend university and was wanting to purchase a car. I also wanted to develop skills in the workforce early. I managed to get a job in retail and it was a great first job as it was a camping and fishing store. I worked there for three and a half years before being offered a job at the University of Queensland as a Tutor and Animal Attendant. I still work casually as an attendant and worked as a casual tutor for two years. During this time, a colleague at the University of Southern Queensland offered me a casual tutor role and I still work with that colleague now. I also applied for a role as a graduate at UniSQ in my first year in my honours.
