While studying, I reached out to a number of wildlife facilities and organizations and asked for volunteering or work placement. The organisations are still places I assist with in my spare time and through one of the jobs, I was able to continue as a casual.
Through volunteering, I was able to take the skills I learnt in my undergraduate and certificate and apply them to the practical experiences in the volunteering role.
