Dr Cally Jetta

I live in WA but study and work full-time at UniSQ. I lecture for the College for First Nations. As an online member of staff, and with the majority of our college enrolments also being online, it was imperative that I became more comfortable and confident using online technologies and began trialing new digital platforms and programs. TechDems were responsive to my specific needs and were able to provide me with the necessary advice and support to begin up-skilling myself.

I am still relatively new to this area but feel I have learnt so much and developed my confidence in this area to the point where I may be able to offer some guidance and support to others who may be unsure how or where to get started with online teaching and incorporating Aboriginal pedagogy and approaches.

I completed my PhD in 2023 with the title – The Complexities of Aboriginal Self-Determination in the School Sector.

Cally presented her work using 360 Photosphere and H5P to the UniSQ Learning and Teaching showcase. Watch her presentation in the video.
