Digital Initiatives
The educational technology focused area within the Learning and Teaching Futures Portfolio supports strategic digital initiatives (pilots and projects) aligned with the Education Plan 2022-2025 at UniSQ.
Digital Initiatives are education technology afforded activities, projects and pilots aimed at digitally transforming learning and teaching at UniSQ. Digital transformation involves deep and coordinated shifts in culture, workforce and technology. At UniSQ digital transformation is driven by the need to be competitive in higher education, support student engagement and success, and build on digital fluency skills especially for future employment through the planned adoption of existing and emerging technology.
Digital Initiatives, under the umbrella of Technology Demonstrators, allow participants to address an opportunity or barrier within their course or other student-facing context.
Join a TechDem Digital Initiative in order to:
- Try new tools and pedagogies in a supportive environment
- Align with research goals (promotion, enhanced status)
- Access additional support for implementation, evaluation and evidence-based reporting.
